Of course I'm kidding, Dave. :)
.
Hi, I’m Amanda.
Welcome to the place where I post my most recent work, as well as the occasional peek into my own life.
I specialize in custom photography, creating unique and priceless images that will be treasured for a lifetime. I love meeting new people, and I especially love to be able to capture their personalities and the connections they have with one another. If you ask me, it is what makes a photograph so beautiful!
Thank you for visiting, and feel free to contact me anytime. I would love to hear from you!

Snowy Day!
These guys were definitely troopers. Out there in t-shirts in the snow! I still think one of you should have pushed your dad in the lake!
Of course I'm kidding, Dave. :)

Them Girlz, as Sheryl says.
These are my beautiful work friends. They all decided they wanted some "glamour shots"--I should've brought red lipstick and added the blurry effect to all the pics...but I didn't. I guess they're not true "glamour shots", but hopefully they'll suffice.
Let's start with Sheryl. Sheryl is from Manila, Philippines. She's the nicest person you'll ever meet with the cutest laugh.
She's a really good friend. :)

Sun is our fabulous Korean friend. She is THE BEST NURSE ever. I want to be her when I grow up.

Dorina--her crazy Mexican attitude is awesome. She is what keeps us awake at 4:00am with her amazing topics of conversation.
She's hilarious.

Kristin: can we say HELLO MRS. EYES! She's from Portland, Oregon (that's kinda exotic!). She came here after nursing school, and she's getting used to SL life. Oh, and did I say gorgeous?

Yu is from Henan, China. She is turning 19, and she is the reason for this wonderful girls day in the first place. Yu, I'm so glad you asked me to do this! You're prettier than all those Chinese models you show me. I think everyone will agree.

Thanks for the fun girls day, ladies! Next time we'll hang out when I'm not coming off of the night shift...you guys want me to drive a little more safe-like, don't you? :) Enjoy.

Is that Yu?
Meet my friend Yu (imagine the hilarious possibilities, we've already used them all). Funny, but apparently it's quite a common name in China, so they don't laugh at it like we do. :)
Yu is the sweetest and most beautiful girl around (no, I'm not talking about YOU! Goodness, try a little humility! ...it just never gets old). She wanted some birthday pics. Well--Happy birthday, Yu!
And PLLLENTY more pics to come.

The Great Indoors
Ok, you're not really going to find a John Mayer song here. Instead, check out the fun we had indoors on Saturday. But even though the cold weather chased us inside, these little boys and their fierce energy made for an all-around enjoyable afternoon.
One more thing---since I am trying to learn as fast as my brain can wrap itself around this stuff, I'm going to start sharing little pieces of recent knowledge I acquire. Little "ah ha" moments, if you will. So today's learning moment (there's 2!): #1) it can be possible to shoot indoors, and some day I will get it down pat; #2) give a baby an ornament, and you will provide hours of matchless entertainment!
