After meeting this very pretty family, I couldn't wait to go home and process these photos! The shoot was a dream: energetic, happy, smilie, and all around photogenic. Did I mention pretty? :)

Shepherd Family

Meet the Shepherd family--one of the most likable families you will ever meet! Jill and I graduated from nursing school together like a million years ago. Ok, slight exaggeration, but it feels that long ago! I was so honored to shoot some photos of her beautiful family.

This is my second time working with this family, and it was SO fun! Something I have observed about this family: to have great kids, it helps if the parents are just downright great people. :) SO fun to work with these guys.

Custom Photography

People ask me, "What's the big deal about custom photography?"

Over the last few years, I have come to really appreciate the power of custom editing. I have also learned, however, that no amount of editing can make up for an awful photo! As I am working to improve my camera skills, it has allowed me to end up with wonderful results in photoshop.

THIS is why I specialize in custom photography. It may be a lot more work, but creating art like this is SO worth it!
