Hehe. I am SOOO excited for more weddings.
And so very excited for FALL photo sessions in general!

What a fun family! These boys were such fantastic sports for being a pair of one-year-olds! We even sat them right in the dirt and weeds, and they didn't seem to mind one bit! Boys. :)

My crazy little girl.

People often ask me how I got into this hobby. I tell them it all started just 3 years ago when this round little face started smiling at me. I wanted nothing more than that beautifully sweet image ingrained in my mind for the rest of my life. Her face was filled with SO much happiness! And I wanted to capture it somehow...in hopes that when you would see the image, you might get a little taste of that happiness yourself.

And you know what? It works. Photos of her just make me happy.

Sadly, I don't do this often enough with my own kids. I hate that I never really got around to a newborn shoot of Sam. So when we were heading to Costco after her doctors appointment, we passed by this very fun color. I quickly noticed it matched her skirt. I pulled over, let her hop out, and told her to dance. I loved this because everything about this little mini-shoot is so completely HER.

Thanks for making your mommy so happy, you crazy little girl.

It's not every day I get to photograph a SUPERMODEL. It's just not fair...I don't ever remember looking so gorgeous in high school. Do teenage girls these days even know what an "awkward phase" is? I sure did.
But this lovely lady does not.
