My crazy little girl.

People often ask me how I got into this hobby. I tell them it all started just 3 years ago when this round little face started smiling at me. I wanted nothing more than that beautifully sweet image ingrained in my mind for the rest of my life. Her face was filled with SO much happiness! And I wanted to capture it somehow...in hopes that when you would see the image, you might get a little taste of that happiness yourself.

And you know what? It works. Photos of her just make me happy.

Sadly, I don't do this often enough with my own kids. I hate that I never really got around to a newborn shoot of Sam. So when we were heading to Costco after her doctors appointment, we passed by this very fun color. I quickly noticed it matched her skirt. I pulled over, let her hop out, and told her to dance. I loved this because everything about this little mini-shoot is so completely HER.

Thanks for making your mommy so happy, you crazy little girl.

These kiddos were picture perfect. SO much fun. And the triplets...hilarious!! They all seemed to be quite entertained by each other.

I told their mother that working with them was a huge mistake...now I want 5 kids. HA! We'll tackle that when the time comes. I'm still adjusting to 2!

I hope so! I am at least a dozen shoots behind on blogging! So I'm TERRIBLY sorry if you've been waiting to see your face on here! Now that the big Christmas card rush is finally wrapping up, I can get my blog-act together.

This is a cutie patootie who wanted her 18 month photos done--and I'm so glad she did! I just love capturing those eyes! Come back soon pretty girl. :)

Boys, boys, boys

Working with this wonderful family of boys really made me so excited about adding a boy to our family! I was surprised at the types of things that we said in order to bring out their genuine smiles. hehe. Thanks to the Hirschi boys (and their amazing mom) for such an enjoyable shoot!
