I'm alive!
I thought you may be wondering, so I'll just clear the air now. I'm not dead.
Just a little busy. I'm trying to get an affordable replacement for my laptop that committed suicide, I'm making a few changes to my work flow, and I'm only six sessions behind on editing (ha!)....all while trying to spend more quality time with hubby and baby. I really am loving this wonderful hobby of mine, I just have to remember to keep things in check, that's all. It sucks to have a neglected yucky blog, but it's certainly nice to have a happy home life.
Here's just a couple of the things I've been working on.

M + K
Ok, so I really just playing around with some new things lately. Shooting with this couple has given me some experimentation material--good sports! Someday I will stop changing stuff, but it's too much fun to try it all. What do you think?
Isn't her dress beautiful? It's fun to use vintage tones on it. This is just a sneak peek of the dress--the groom wants to be surprised. Cute! Just wait until you see the whole thing!

Tender moments
We spent yesterday with my sister and her little family. We sure love being with them. I'm glad I live so close to all my closest friends (my sisters). Emily is one of those mommys you only wish you could be like. Those little twin boys are SO LUCKY to have her. But of course if you ask her, she thinks she's like the lucky one.
These boys are growing up so fast! We had to pull out the camera...these moments slip away way too fast!

Even more changes...
After mentoring with Andee from Crave Photography, I swear my head is spinning! Aside from learning a TON of cool new tricks, I think it was most helpful to sit talk with her. It was good to see how a mom of 3 is handling her flourishing business, and to hear how it has grown from what used to be just a fun hobby. It has really made me think about this hobby of mine, and what goals,(if any) I'm going to set. That is going to require a bit of thought--but for now, I love that I was able to spend some time her, exploring new ways to express my creativity. Thanks for the fun day, Andee!
